I have been interested in the legal field since my college days, and my journey has led me to LJU Law Firm, where I am gaining my first experience in this dynamic environment. I was drawn to this firm because of its dedication to serving a diverse range of individuals and its focus on ensuring clients receive the personalized care and attention they need for their unique situations. After meeting James, I found a mentor who embodies the values I admire—someone who genuinely cares for the people who come into our office. This inspired me to contribute to the team and help those in need.

 I am passionate about the pre-litigation phase of cases, where I can engage deeply with the details and help build a strong foundation for each matter. As I continue to grow in my career, I am also eager to take on more complex cases, embracing the opportunity to contribute to both strategic planning and the challenges that come with more intricate legal matters.

I believe in fighting for the little guy and advocating for those who may feel voiceless. My bilingual skills enable me to communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients, particularly within the Hispanic and Latin communities. I strive to ensure that everyone feels heard and understood, especially when language barriers exist.

Building strong relationships with clients is essential to my approach. I prioritize listening to their concerns, gathering all relevant information about their cases, and maintaining open lines of communication through regular check-ups. My process involves three key steps: first, I listen and gather the facts; second, I compile all relevant information; and third, I review everything with my team to determine the best course of action. 

I actively collaborate with my colleagues at LJU Law Firm, helping wherever needed and ensuring that I am as useful as possible in supporting our clients' needs. My background in health economics has shaped my understanding of the challenges individuals face in accessing adequate medical care and navigating insurance obstacles.

Looking ahead, I aspire to attend law school in Fall 2025, where I plan to specialize in complex cases and mass torts. My experiences at LJU Law Firm are laying a solid foundation for my future legal career, allowing me to learn from dedicated professionals who share a commitment to justice.
